The best thing about them is they will hold their shape until you decide to change it.
If you feel the standard satin ribbon is too floppy and never stays just as you want it to, then try the wire edged ribbon. You are sure to be pleased.

Satin Ribbon

Not only are they suitable for gift wrapping, they are perfect for dress making, scrapbooking or dressing a bouquet of flowers.
Tip
When using wrapping paper with a high glitter content or high gloss surface, use a glue gun or high tack tape. This will ensure the gift will not come undone.
Poor quality tape/glue will not cope with these surfaces.
Trying to wrap a small gift with thick wrapping paper will result in crinkled corners and a poorly wrapped gift.
Use the cotton fibre wrap as it is easily manipulated and can handle the contours of a small gift.

This stunning cotton fibre wrap is detailed with a scroll design finished off with red glitter.
Using metallic wire edged ribbon, the wrapping was finished off with two pretty bows in one corner.
